EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR
– Novi Sad –
Key responsibilities:
- gaining a thorough understanding of key business processes, the industry, and internal and external opportunities and challenges;
- monitoring the execution of business plans and key performance indicators, including sales, margins, costs and profitability;
- analysing business results and engaging teams in jointly developing measures for improvement;
- actively contributing to strategy development and key decision-making aimed at expanding into new markets, acquiring new customers and identifying new business opportunities;
- balancing strategic direction with hands-on involvement in day-to-day operations;
- overseeing and coordinating activities across all areas of the business, including sales, procurement, production, R&D, finance and other functions;
- inspiring and empowering teams while fostering a culture of accountability, discipline, transparency and constructive challenge.
What we expect from you:
- experience in leading commercial teams and business development projects, ideally within related industries and organisational structures;
- a strong understanding of the entire business system — from markets and sales to production, technology and financial performance;
- strategic and analytical thinking, combined with strong leadership and organisational skills;
- a structured and disciplined approach to processes, together with curiosity and a willingness to learn;
- a university degree in economics, engineering or a related field;
- excellent command of English and an active driving licence with regular driving experience.
