On the occasion of World Bread Day, which is celebrated around the world on October 16, PIP Food Group, in cooperation with the Pyramid Education Center in Maribor, organized an expert conference entitled “Bread Connects Us“, dedicated to the importance of bread and bakery. The event brought together experts in the field of bakery with a common goal — to remind ourselves of the value that bread carries in everyday life, but also to talk about contemporary challenges and innovations in the bakery industry.

Knowledge, tradition and innovation – the basis of every good bread story

During the event, the director of IC Piramida Maribor, Tina Pokrovč, and the director of PIP Food Group, Rodoljub Ivković, signed a cooperation agreement between PIP Food Group and IC Piramida, which is a confirmation of their joint commitment to the exchange of knowledge, the development of expertise and the nurturing of tradition in bakery. This partnership further strengthens the link between educational institutions and industry, with a clear goal — to create new generations of professionals who understand and respect the craft, but at the same time keep up with modern trends and technologies.
